Oasis Academy Arena Students Celebrate Achieving Outstanding GCSE Results and Readiness for Future Steps

The anticipation for GCSE results has ended, with students nationwide making their ultimate return to school to receive their grades on Thursday 24th August 2023. Among them, our Year 11 students of Oasis Academy Arena are in high spirits, venturing on to their next journey after attaining impressive results.

Several students have surpassed in their individual achievements.

Angel has secured four 9’s, three 8’s and a 7 in her results, she will be starting her news journey at King Math School. Fraser achieved two 9’s three 8’s a 7 and a 6 in his results. Fraser is deciding between takin on an apprenticeship or going to Croydon College.
Pola will be starting at Reigate College to study Art, she attained a 9, 8, two 6’s and five 5’s.

Reflecting on the student's accomplishments, Thomas Raymond, Principal at Oasis Academy Arena, said: "We are very proud of the achievement of our students this year.  We have seen some truly exceptional performances and watching our students collect their results this morning and seeing the delight in their faces has been a pleasure."

"We know that the pandemic provided significant disruption to learning and it is so good to see them bounce back. Our students will now move on to the next stages of their education and we look forward to hearing how they do in the future. Well done Year 11 Oasis Academy Arena students – you are incredible."

Stella Matsouka, an English Teacher at Oasis Academy Arena, stated: "I am overjoyed to witness the smiling faces of our students today. The hard work, passion and determination of these young people have truly manifested in their results, and we (staff) are incredibly proud."
